    Inspired Getaways advertises itself as a Crafters Haven yet it is that and so much more! The owner/managers have bought a beautiful old farm house and renovated it with all of the latest modern conveniences including a large workroom intended for the use of quilters, and other crafters. Available for rental by groups of up to 12 people Inspired Getaways provides sewing tables, cutting tables, ironing stations, a design wall, ample electrical outlets and amazing lighting -- both natural and artificial. But wait there's more! They provide comfy beds with clean linens, modern bathrooms with oodles of clean towels, a bright and cheerful kitchen and a large dining table so your group can all sit together and enjoy their meal times. Although you have the choice of lugging your own food there and preparing it yourself I highly recommend that you allow Karine, your friendly and efficient proprietor, to make the food for you. She will consult with you in advance about the menu selection, she respects any dietary needs, she prepares all the delicious meals and snacks and serves them to you . . . But wait that's not all . . . She does all the cleaning up too!
    I spent 3 amazing days and 2 nights there with my sewing group, Artwear Ottawa, during April 2017 and there was not a complaint from any of our very discerning members, it was more like we had died and gone to heaven! If you want a quiet time in the country where you can work on your quilts, or other crafts, this is the place to go! In my opinion, Inspired Getaways would also be a great venue for a family reunion, prayer retreat, or executive team building exercises. Only a half-hour drive from Ottawa with the atmosphere of being worlds away! Excellent value for the price. Inspired Getaways practices eco-friendly living such as recycling and composting.
